Case

The International School of Panama (ISP) is a non-profit international educational institution that, since 1982, has offered a rigorous, inclusive, and future-focused learning model. Its holistic approach combines the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, innovative programs, and a multicultural community of students from over 40 nationalities. Through critical thinking, curiosity, and compassion, ISP nurtures global citizens who are committed to the world around them.

Yes Sir is a strategic digital marketing partner for ISP, having supported initiatives such as paid media and social media. In 2025, we strengthened this partnership by leading the redesign and development of their new website. The goal of this project was to move away from the previous site and completely renew the school’s digital experience.

Goals

  • Design a more friendly, innovative, and dynamic visual experience, where the use of color reflects that ISP is a school designed for children and young people.
  • Position the school as an international benchmark in education, highlighting its academic offer and global community.
  • Optimize the site for search engines (SEO), aligning content with the search intentions of families exploring educational options.
  • Improve user experience and accessibility through clear, intuitive navigation that adapts to all devices.

Execution

From the start, the project was scoped to include a maximum of 25 to 28 screens, considering the volume of information and the brand’s various needs, without compromising navigational agility or overloading the experience.

Together with the ISP team, we established that the site needed to focus on clear, direct communication, especially for parents and school communities. The process combined strategy, user experience, visual design, and functionality. It culminated in the development and implementation of a new site that reflects the school’s identity through vibrant color usage and a dynamic structure.

UX Writing

  • Bilingual navigation in English and Spanish: Clear, functional structures were created in both languages, tailored to the needs of different users and ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience throughout the site.
  • Communicating the school’s unique value: The messaging was crafted to highlight ISP’s human side and the impact it has on students, their families, and the educational team. It aimed to showcase not only access to prestigious universities worldwide, but also students’ personal growth and the school’s commitment to understanding diverse learning experiences.
  • Connecting with what matters to families: Through clear, persuasive, and strategically optimized messaging, we focused on addressing the key questions parents ask when selecting a school in Panama: academic excellence, a safe environment, international focus, and comprehensive support. Every piece of content was structured using SEO best practices, with clear hierarchies and relevant keywords to ensure both intuitive navigation and strong search engine performance.

UX/UI Design

  • Unifying visual identity across channels: We worked to align the website’s design with the visual elements present across ISP’s other digital platforms. While blue remains the core institutional color, we introduced a vibrant palette, featuring orange and violet, to convey warmth, energy, and a playful tone, reflecting the spirit of a growing, diverse school community.
  • Lightweight and dynamic modules: Given the often extensive nature of the content, the design focused on visually agile sections with clear steps and intuitive interaction. The aim was to avoid heavy blocks of text and instead ensure that each screen felt light, structured, and easy to explore.
  • Scalable and adaptable design system: We defined a comprehensive design system including style guides, interaction patterns, buttons, typography, and spacing rules. This documentation ensures both visual and functional consistency and enables easy updates across devices and languages, resulting in a responsive, accessible, and future-proof site.

Web Development

  • Selection and Implementation of WordPress as CMS: We chose WordPress as a robust and flexible content management solution, supported by the latest version of PHP. This decision allowed us not only to integrate modern features and strengthen security, but also to ensure compatibility with the most efficient plugins in the ecosystem. Additionally, it laid the foundation for future integrations with digital marketing strategies such as paid media, SEO, and automation.
  • Front-End Technological Implementation: The site’s development was led by our engineering team, who translated the UX/UI design into a functional and dynamic product. Technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript were used to build a responsive interface optimized to deliver a seamless user experience across all devices, mobile, tablet, and desktop.
  • Responsive and Multilingual Design: Each interface was designed with versatility and accessibility in mind. The site adapts precisely to different screen sizes, ensuring a consistent navigation experience on any device. A carefully implemented multilingual structure prevents visual errors between versions, ensuring a smooth and continuous experience in both English and Spanish.

Final Results

The new ISP website is now live at isp.edu.pa , a renewed digital space where the school’s identity comes to life through color, dynamism, and intuitive navigation.
