Case:
Be Think Do is a Colombian brand of natural products designed to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual balance. Their primary need was not just a website to sell their products, but also a platform to share their story, the health benefits of plants, and other related topics.
Goals:
- Payment gateway for their products.
- Categorization of their products and services.
- Contact channel for buyers and sellers.
- Simple and quick processes.
- Portal for creating and accessing a personal profile.
Execution
How to sell the flagship product without mentioning it? This question was crucial for creating the structure, copy, and design of Be Think Do’s website.
Currently, Google has strict regulations regarding the use of words like marijuana, cannabis, CBD, cannabidiol, hemp, and other cannabis-related terms.
Considering that using these terms could lead to rejected ads, account suspensions, improper visibility in search engines, and other issues, our strategy relied heavily on graphic elements like icons, colors, and product photographs.
In addition to this, our team of experts in UX Writing, UX/UI, SEO, and Web Engineering implemented various tactics to successfully deliver the e-commerce site. These included:
- UX Writing: Creation of clear, concise, and action-oriented texts that facilitate site navigation and the purchasing process.
This includes the creation of product descriptions based on key keywords and recommendations from the Search Engine Optimization team. - SEO: Since the brand already had a website, it was necessary to permanently redirect old links or URLs to new product pages, avoiding content duplication and preserving search authority.
- Low-fidelity design: The initial stage in the web design process, consisting of basic and grayscale graphics that represent the basic layout of the user interface.
- High-fidelity design: An advanced stage of the design process where detailed and visually precise representations of an interface or product are created, including the brand’s photographs, typography, and colors.
- Web development: Building the user-facing (Frontend) and server-side (Backend) components of the site, ensuring that design and structure, along with the implementation of interactive functionalities and database management, work correctly.
- Client handover: We conducted a detailed training session with the Be Think Do team on the content management system’s functionalities in which they became familiar with the platform and acquired the necessary skills to effectively upload content and update images.
