Case
Control B is a Colombian brand focused on meeting technical, operational, and environmental parameters for aerial spraying in banana crops. They approached Sí Señor with the goal of creating an informative landing page that also provides contact channels for producers interested in their services.
Goals
- Organic search engine positioning.
- Visual independence from their headquarter.
- Dynamic design with a predominant black color scheme.
- Specific sections for services, sustainability, certifications, and operational capacity.
- Direct and clear communication about the brand and its services.
Execution
It’s common to confuse a one page with a landing page; however, at Sí Señor, we’re clear on how they differ in their objectives and structures.
A landing page aims to convert visitors into potential customers through CTAs or calls to action.
In the case of Control B, the ideal approach was to build a one page or single-page website. This means all content is contained within a single page structured vertically, eliminating the need for internal pages.
Considering that the purpose of this project was to showcase the brand and its services, our engineering team divided their tasks into three stages:
- UX Writing and SEO: Prior to content structuring, we conducted a benchmark analysis to understand how brands in the sector communicate, their keywords, and notable practices to improve upon. This informed the brand’s tone of voice, aligned with its identity and industry. We integrated keywords such as black sigatoka, bioinputs, crop fumigation, and agrochemical management to enhance search engine positioning opportunities.
- User Interface and User Experience: A significant challenge in interface and experience design was the use of black, which can be overwhelming if used excessively. Our team focused on achieving an optimal balance between this brand-specific color and secondary colors that evoke Control B’s commitment to security and protection.
- Development from Engineering: The site was developed using WordPress and Elementor. To ensure dynamic functionality, we incorporated interactive features such as hover effects, which change the color or appearance of elements when the mouse cursor hovers over them. Additionally, we utilized scrolling effects to smoothly transition between sections based on mouse movements.
